What do you enjoy most?

Chantel has won several hairdressing awards, including first place in the National Hair & Beauty Federation East of England awards for Best Colour Salon and Hair Stylist of the Year. She can turn her hand to every part of hairdressing but gets the most satisfaction from colour work, especially balayage and vivid colours, as well as hair ups. Away from the salon she is with family and friends, or walking her dog, who she freely admits is her baby.

How long have you been here?

Alicia is our popular receptionist and has been with us since 2009, although she worked here as a Saturday girl before that. She is a qualified stylist too and can be found cutting in the salon at busy times. In her spare time she enjoys evening walks along the beach, seeing family and friends, and the occasional gin.

What do you specialise in?

Lyndsie has been part of the Deesigner Hair team for over 30 years and enjoys every part of hairdressing. She specialises in perming and loves helping clients achieve beautiful, long lasting results tailored to their own style. Outside the salon she spends time with her family and is a self confessed adrenaline junkie, with roller coasters a particular favourite. She also loves rock concerts, getting creative with crafts, and relaxing with a good book.

What do you love doing?

Laura loves all haircutting, long and short, thick and thin hair, ladies and gents. She also loves colour work and perming.

What is your speciality?

Kim specialises in balayage, blonding and restyles. She has been a qualified stylist with us since 2003.

What do you love doing?

Emma has been with Deesigner Hair since 2006 and has a wealth of experience in every part of hairdressing. She specialises in cutting, colouring and creating hair up styles for every occasion, from weddings to special events. Outside the salon Emma loves travelling and making memories with friends and family, and she is usually the one bringing the energy and the laughter.

What do you enjoy most?

Katy offers cutting, colouring and perming. Cutting is her favourite, especially a complete transformation. She has been with Deesigner since 2007 and loves seeing her regulars week after week.

What do you enjoy most?

Pixie specialises in cutting work and particularly enjoys short hair and restyles. Away from the salon she is socialising with friends and family, travelling, and taking holidays somewhere sunny.

What do you specialise in?

Jen has over 25 years of experience and has been part of the Deesigner team for nearly 20 of them. She specialises in curly and textured hair, as well as all aspects of colouring and cutting, and is passionate about helping every client look and feel their best. Outside work she can be found walking her dog, watching crime documentaries or the latest reality TV, trying new places to eat, or sitting down with a proper cup of tea.

What do you enjoy?

Sally enjoys working on mens hair and ladies perms, and restyling from long to short or just into something different. She also does blow drying, cutting, and small amounts of colour on short hair.

What is your favourite work?

Amie enjoys cutting and restyles, but especially loves creative hair ups and braiding. Her hobbies include ballroom and Latin dancing, and being very family orientated she likes taking her daughter out for day trips, as well as going out for drinks with friends.

What do you enjoy most?

Leanne has been hairdressing for 28 years and has a real passion for creating styles that suit each individual client. She particularly enjoys cutting bobs, short hair and gents hair, along with complete restyles and highlighting. Outside the salon she is with her children, dining out, watching football, going for long walks, or off to a concert.

What do you enjoy most?

Macey enjoys many parts of hairdressing but especially loves putting hair up, cutting short hair and colour work, in particular blondes and vivid colours. Outside work she goes to the football, travels, and spends time with friends and family.

When are you in?

Zoe is our popular receptionist and works Mondays and Fridays. She is a qualified stylist too, so she is always on hand for advice and can point you to the right stylist. She helps out in the salon where she can, answers queries and books appointments, and will happily chat your ear off at the desk. When she is not here she is looking after her two daughters, out dancing with friends, or outdoors getting messy with the kids.

What is your speciality?

Ashley enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, but especially balayage and blonding work.

What do you love doing?

Kirstin loves creating the look her clients are after and giving them the confidence they deserve. She really enjoys quirky colours and unique styles.

What do you enjoy?

Daisy joined Deesigner Hair at the start of 2026 and offers slightly discounted rates. She loves creating low maintenance balayages and lived in blondes, and is just as passionate about styling, especially a soft, bouncy blow dry to finish. Outside the salon she enjoys nights out with her friends and her boyfriend, keeping active with Pilates, or treating herself to a shopping trip.

What are you working on?

Our friendly apprentice, helping out around the salon while studying to be a qualified stylist. Kennedy is looking for models for certain services, offered free of charge or at a nominal rate.

What do you enjoy?

Libby is new to the salon and offers slightly reduced rates. She especially enjoys cutting and blow drying long hair, as well as highlights and blonde work. Libby is qualified to level 2 and will soon complete her level 3. In her spare time she takes her dog Buddy for long walks and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
